Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a nonprofit global health organization working to save lives and improve health by strengthening health systems in more than 40 countries, including Nigeria. Our work addresses all elements of the health system: service delivery; leadership and governance; medical products, vaccines, and technologies; health financing; health information; and human resources. We work shoulder to shoulder with people in countries at all levels of the health system. Our people-centered approach involves heads of households to community health workers to health workers in facilities to national health authorities. MSH supports universal access to treatment, care, and prevention for all, especially for the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people.
For over 10 years, MSH has partnered with the Nigerian government to strengthen health systems and improve access to, and use of, quality health and social welfare services. Our programs are aligned with the Nigeria National Strategic Health Development Plan, designed to transform Nigeria’s health sector for the people of Nigeria. Through our four current projects, MSH works with the Ministries of Health and Women Affairs and Social Development, government agencies, and civil-society partners to provide a sustainable response to challenges in leadership and governance, health systems, HIV and service provision, laboratory services, human resources for health, and maternal and child health.
